Our building designs will allow customers to utilize a large variety of foundation options, depending on your requirements.
Wall mount buildings can be erected on various types of elevated foundations. Often, an elevated foundation will allow your building to sit much higher giving it increased storage volume, allowing for solid sidewalls for increased side protection, more clearance to install larger doors and providing more straight wall surface for extra storage. Some examples of wall mounting options are:
- Precast concrete blocks
- Poured in place concrete walls
- Precast concrete walls
- Steel posts
- Wooden pony walls
- Pressure treated posts
Ground mountable buildings are designed to sit on a flat surface. This is often a more economical approach if the requirement for high foundations and more clearance is not needed. Buildings designed for ground mounting can be placed on a concrete slab or asphalt pad and in certain situations, can be anchored directly to the ground, without any formal foundation, using only earth anchors.
Standard shipping containers can be used as a foundation for some models of buildings. This allows for the building's framework and cover to be stored in the shipping containers for easy transportation. This is a very cost-effective foundation option. Read more.
